Chuck working on his 1933 Chevy. Photo courtesy Poole Family.Charles 'Chuck' Clayton Poole was born in Big Springs, Texas on January 17, 1922 to Charlie and Eula Pool. He had an older sister named Wesley Berry, an older brother named Maurice Robert "Bob," and a younger brother Don. Charles was married to Joyce M. King. Charles worked at Rohr from 1952-1958 as a Riveter. He was the first one in the family to go to work at Rohr, followed by Bob and Don. He later moved to Sacramento, California. He died November 6, 1989 in Sacramento County, California. He was 67 years old.

Joyce was born May 8th, 1923 in Placer County, Wisconsin to Mr. and Mrs. Elmer King, who originally came from France. She was married to Chuck Poole. Joyce was employed at Rohr in the Paint Shop. She died of lung disease on June 8th, 1992 in Sacramento, California. She was 69 years old.
