Glenn & Ione McKenzie
Rohr Chula Vista & Riverside
Glenn and Ione McKenzie worked at both the Chula Vista and Rohr plants. In Janaury of 1953, Glenn was promoted from Jig and Builder 'A' to Department Leadman in Riverside. Glenn enjoyed playing golf with other Rohr employees. During the strike in Riverside, Glenn had his son, who was about 16 years old at the time, drove him to work rather than leave his car in the parking lot. Glenn became Jig and Fixture General Foreman in Riverside in 1967 (Source: Rohr News, November 10, 1967, page 8). He retired in August of 1975.
In January 1953, Wayne McKenzie was promoted from Leadman in the Tool and Die Department to Assistant Foreman.
