The headquarters for Rohr's post office systems department was located at 16711 Parkside Street in Cerritos (Rohr Magazine, Winter 1970, p. 17).
Rohr Industrial Systems, Inc., designed and manufactured "bulk and letter mail sortation systems for the United States Postal Service and others." In August of 1972, Rohr-Plessey Corporation was formed by Rohr and the Plessey Company of Great Britian "to meet a growing demand for automated bulk and letter mail soration systems by the United States Postal Service (Rohr, 1975, p. 1, 12).
