Willie was born on October 23, 1938 in Keithville, Louisana. He married Ivy Jean Jackson in 1960, they were married for 17 years and were parents to 6 children. Later on he married Helen Pugh but they divorced. He enjoyed hobbies that had anything to do with working with his hands. Cars, roofing, house repairs and building barbecue pits. He was a multi-talented man but master of none. He loved his job at Rohr. He was hired as an Acid Yard Attendent and made himself a valuable employee by learning every job that was possible.
