Rohr Chula Vista and Riverside

Russ was born on January 31, 1916 in Waveland, Montgomery County, Indiana to Webster and Maude Ewbank. His sister, Carmen, was born 11 months later in Parke County, Indiana (Findagrave.com).

Russ worked at Rohr Chula Vista and Rohr Riverside in the mid-to late ‘50s in the Purchasing department (K. Ewbank, 2/14/2022).

For many weeks, he was on the planning and budget committee for the Rohr picnic held at Del Mar Fairgrounds on May 24th, 1953 (The AeROHRcrafter, April 1953, p. 30).

When Russ and his wife were married one of his good friends from Rohr was his best man at the wedding (K. Ewbank, 2/21/2022).

According to their daughter, in 1956, "Mom & Dad raised some of the first Rhodesian puppies in the states" (K. Ewbank, 2/14/2022).

Russ passed away on May 6, 1971 in Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee (Findagrave.com).
